CEO Advice: Trust People

Earl Graves, founder, chairman and CEO of Earl Graves Limited offers the following advice he received from Real Estate developer Valerio Cardinale: "Trust People". Even though your skepticism in the comepetence of people you have to deal with may seem waranted or even justified, it is always better to trust your people to get things done. It allows you to leverage yourself by delegating to those more capable than yourself.

Graves found throughout his career that delegating and trusting your employees completely brings out the best in them. They know when you are relying on them and rise to the occasion. When you have absolute trust in your staff, they move mountains to live up to your expectations.
